Attendance matters

• If a student is absent, a note has to be handed in the next day to be counted as excused.
• If the note is not handed in on the first day back, it will be marked as unexcused.
• Students will have 5 days to make up any missed work after an absence.

• No student check-outs after 3:00 PM
• Excessive check-outs will result in discipline consequences similar to tardies
• 3:30 PM - Car riders
• All car riders must be picked up by 4:00 PM
• 3:45 PM - Athletes
• Bus Riders will be called upon bus arrival

New State/District Cell Phone Expectations

• Students are no longer allowed to have cell phones once entering the building at 7:50 a.m.; this includes all transitions, cafeteria, gym, etc.
• Cell phones must be powered off and in students' bookbags.
• No smartwatches, headphones, air pods are allowed; items will need to be placed in the student's bookbag with the cell phone.
• Anything other than students’ laptops is not permitted to be used during the school day.
• Consequences:
  • 1st offense: 2 days LD and phone is confiscated by admin
  • 2nd offense: 3 days OSS and phone is confiscated by admin
  • 3rd offense: 3 days OSS and phone is confiscated by admin
  • Phones will be returned to the parent if confiscated

• Health/PE
  • Must dress out

Uniform Pants

• No more than four pockets

• Shorts/skirts must be at or past mid-thigh
• Cargo pants, blue jeans, leggings, tights, yoga pants, jogging/athletic pants, sweatpants, and any pants with holes are not allowed

The criteria for PBIS activities are:

• No administrative discipline referrals
• No report card grade below 60
• No more than 1 Reflections referral

Students who qualify for PBIS celebrations will be allowed to dress out of uniform on the day of the activity.

The dates of the PBIS celebrations are:

1st 9 Weeks – Friday, November
2nd 9 Weeks – Friday, January
3rd 9 Weeks – Friday, March
4th 9 Weeks – Friday, May

6th graders CAN participate (except football)

• Must pass your classes to be eligible
• Must have a current physical and concussion form
